*Why was Whoopi Goldberg wearing an Abraham Lincoln hat today on “The View?” It was actually a nod to Alice in Wonderland, and she had it on, she said, to lighten the mood amid the doom and gloom of the constant coronavirus news.
The ladies did a whole show of Hot Topics with no one but a handful of staffers in the audience, thanks to new COVID-19 precautions.
Their first topic was President Trump’s televised address to the nation last night, which none of the ladies thought was effective, and which ironically caught the angriest flack from the panel’s lone Republican, Meghan McCain.
