NeNe Leakes Denies Spitting on Kenya Moore, But Says: ‘You Need to Be Spit On’

NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore

*NeNe Leakes tried to spit on Kenya Moore during a heated exchange while filming “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and she has no regrets about it.

Leakes continues to defend her seemingly ratchet behavior on the new season, and recently explained why Moore ‘needs’ to be spit on.

“I don’t even know what was going through my mind in that moment, but what I do know is, I didn’t spit on her — but I sorta, kinda wish I had,” Leakes admitted during a recent sit-down with “ET”. “I’m just gonna be honest about that, because I just think some of the things Kenya says is really nasty and really dirty. And I just feel like, girl, you are just — you probably need to be spit on. You just probably need to be. And it may not sound great, but she probably needs to be spit on. And I have no sympathy for her. I just don’t.”

She went on to accuse Moore of blowing the situation out of proportion, adding, “Of course she wanted to run with it, and that’s fine by me. I don’t care, girl. Run with it — I only wish I had spit on you, girl.”

During a November episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Moore said the spitting incident is the reason why she and NeNe are no longer cool, Page Six reports.

“Once someone tries to spit on you, I think they’re not ever gonna be friends with you,” she said, noting that Leakes is “dead” to her.

As reported by PEOPLE, Kenya and Nene have been at odds all season, but on Sunday’s episode of the hit Bravo reality series, Leakes attempted to clear the air. But Kenya wasn’t having it.

“Is there an issue?” NeNe asked Moore, after Kenya rejected her attempts at a hug. “I’m just letting you know that I don’t have an issue. And I really want you to understand that.”

“We’ll talk about it. We will talk another time,” Moore said, brushing NeNe off.

“Can I be cordial? Yes. Can I be phony? No,” Kenya told audiences.
