The father-daughter bond is a very special one that impacts a girl for the rest of her life. Statistics show that girls who grow up with a father have stronger self-confidence, better relationships, higher graduation rates, and increased success rates overall. On the other hand, girls who grow up without their fathers are more likely to experience sexual abuse, have boosted rates of depression and higher incidence of addiction. The absence of the father has an adverse impact on young women as they are missing paternal protection, support, and resources that are often vital to their lives. “In a time where father’s roles and contributions are often overlooked, we want to honor, highlight and celebrate their importance to our families, communities, and nation,” said Lalanii Wilson Jones, Event Co-Producer and CEO of Mogul 247.

In the summer of 2011, a group of Dallas, Texas-based fathers, and their daughters traveled to Nassau, Bahamas to enjoy 7 days of fun in the sun and bonding. The dads wanted to create an environment where they could pour into their little girls through pampering, relaxation and empowerment experiences that would stay with them for a lifetime. The dad’s intentions were to strengthen their relationships with their daughters, bolster the girls’ self-esteem, create memories and to give mom a break! It was important for them to set the tone of how their daughters should be treated and raise their levels of expectancy in life and relationships

Over the past 9 years their vision, and ultimately their group has expanded to include daddy-daughter pairings of all ages and various backgrounds. The attendees return home with not only sun-kissed skin but renewed spirits, greater communication, and stronger Daddy-Daughter connections.

Now, dads and daughters around the globe are invited to join this movement and this event. The Ultimate Daddy Daughter Experience highlights the importance of fathers, strengthen the daddy-daughter bond and help make lasting memories for #GirlDads all over the world.
