Trump Asked Health Experts if a Flu Vaccine Would Work for Coronavirus – Watch

*At a White House meeting with Pharma executives on Monday, the President of the United States asked if the flu vaccine could be used to prevent the coronavirus.

A biotech CEO at the table simply answered, “No,” and managed to keep a straight face.

While a new flu vaccine is developed each year, it’s designed to target specific strands of the flu virus and would be ineffective in fighting the coronavirus. Although Trump is demanding that a coronavirus vaccine be developed in two months time, experts have said that it’s likely years away.
