Ex-NFLer Calls Trump the ‘First Black President’ and the Room Explodes with Applause! – WATCH

Trump meets with black supporters
WASHINGTON, DC – FEBRUARY 27: African American supporters lay their hands on U.S. President Donald Trump as they pray for him at the conclusion of a news conference and meeting in the Cabinet Room at the White House February 27, 2020 in Washington, DC. The president talked about the economic advances African Americans have made under his administration, about the government’s response to the global coronavirus threat and how dishonest he thinks the news media can be to him. He did not answer reporters’ questions about the S&P 500 taking its worst loss in almost nine years. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

*We don’t know what he apparently smoked and lost his mind, but a former NFL player went a called Donald Trump the “FIRST black President.”

Yeah, put that in your pipe and … well, you know. Anyway, the madness went down on Thursday at the White House during a Black History Month roundtable discussion.

“Mr. President, I don’t mean to interrupt, but I’ve got to say this because it’s Black History Month: man, you are the first black president,” former NFL safety Jack Brewer, who was a guest at the roundtable, told Trump.

Given who was in attendance at the event, you won’t be surprised to learn the comment sparked a round of applause from the president’s other supporters, which included Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece Alveda King, and two of his favorites, conservative media personalities Diamond and Silk and others.

Brewer went on to say he was a Democrat all his life until he was “changed” and “inspired” by Trump.

“You’ve changed me. You touched me. And you made my work go to another level. You inspire me. And every time I go into those prisons and I ask my guys how many of them had their sentences reduced and they raise their hands, I know I’m doing God’s work and I thank you for that,” Brewer said.

These days the former NFLer is an ordained minister and Fordham University professor.

Other than what came out of his mouth, we have no idea what inspired the obviously false statement. After all, even in Trump’s and even Brewer’s world of alternate reality, the actual first black president was Trump’s immediate predecessor, the man who he is fixated on 24/7, Barack Obama. However, most are assuming that Brewer’s comment was likely a reference to the “first black president” nickname given to former President Bill Clinton by novelist Toni Morrison in 1998.

On the real, the Trump campaign is making a hella serious effort to court black voters in recent weeks, particularly in diverse cities in swing states, notes The Hill. As we recently reported, black Trump advocates are carrying out a campaign to literally buy black votes with its “Cash for Blacks” initiative.

Meanwhile, The Hill reports that the latest NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll found only 14 percent of black voters have a favorable view of Trump, and a recent Hill-Harris X poll found 85 percent of black voters would back the Democratic nominee over the president. Also, a new survey from BlackPAC found 77 percent of African Americans view Trump as a racist.
