*Entrepreneur and ‘shark’ investor Mark Cuban stopped by SiriusXM headquarters to chat with Urban View host Heather B. Gardner of “Heather B. Live” prior to the release of his new book, Life Is Half Random: These Are the Questions and the Answers which will hit stores on March 17.
During the interview Mark spoke with Heather about his friendship with Kobe Bryant; “one of the most powerful famous impactful people in the world.” He shared a recently discovered texting conversation with Kobe Bryant on old phone “talking about his retirement, and what he was going to do afterwards and how he was coming on to my turf, and I was going to kick his ass in the business world…show him the Cuban mentality.”
Mark Cuban went on to discuss being spiritual, how to control your own destiny and what motivates him: “I’m competitive..business is the ultimate sport..and my drive is to kick ass.”
The billionaire investor tells Heather B. how all of his clothes were used, and he held onto an old item from his thrift store days which he laughs about “I wore these pants to a Mavs game..made out of curtains… that had lions and tigers and bears on them.”
