Raven-Symone Shuts Down Rumors That She’s Transgender: ‘They Obviously Can’t Handle Me’

Raven-Symone

*Raven-Symone sparked curiosity about her gender preference when she shared pics of herself on social showing her rocking baggy clothes: an oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants and her hair braided in cornrows.

In the wake of Dwyane Wade’s 12-year-old son publicly coming out as transgender, folks quickly assumed Raven’s attire was representative of her own transition journey.

But the actress quickly shut down such chatter, making clear that she is NOT transgender

Peep the pics below at the center of the online debate.

According to Gossip on This, Raven addressed rumors in a now-deleted post, writing:

“Wow since people think I’m turning into a man because I’m braided up for my wig, and was feelin myself for a min, guess I gotta show off just the shoes and a sneak of the fit. They obviously can’t handle me on an everyday.”

The Disney star previously opened up about her sexuality in 2013 when revealing that she identifies as a lesbian.
