Tony Allen on “Undisputed” – Feb. 21, 2020

*Retired NBA defensive great Tony Allen joined “Undisputed” hosts Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe Friday to discuss his many battles with Kobe Bryant and what it was like to face off with one of the fiercest competitors in the history of sports.

“He’s probably my Michael Jordan,” Allen said. “To see that he actually said that about me kinda surprised me. We never talked on the court, we were always at each other’s head.”

“Some nights I wouldn’t even get sleep just preparing for these games,” Allen said of his matchups with the Black Mamba.

Allen, a six-time member on the NBA All-Defensive Team, won a championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008. During his 15 seasons in the NBA, he also played for the Memphis Grizzlies and spent his final year with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018.
