*Here’s your first look at the 8-episode Hulu series “Little Fires Everywhere,” based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestseller about two families living in 1990s Shaker Heights, Ohio (Ng’s hometown) who are brought together through their children.
Mia (Kerry Washington) and Elena (Reese Witherspoon) are the respective mamas, and things start out innocently enough – with Mia and her daughter renting a room in Elena’s second home. Soon little “fires” of race, class and long-held secrets – exacerbated by the respective mama bear mentalities of Mia and Elena – start to unravel the lives of both families.
Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Washington’s Simpson Street are producers. The series will premiere on Wednesday, March 18th with three episodes.
