*Fans will get a glimpse into the life of Dwyane Wade both on and off the court via a new ESPN documentary, titled “D. Wade: Life Unexpected.”

The retired NBA superstar is literally baring it all in the film. In one scene, Wade reportedly appears naked in the Heat’s locker room shower on the day of his retirement in 2019.

According to Page Six, the project was filmed over the course of 10 years by his longtime friend, cinematographer Bob Metelus. The outlet notes that the nude shower scene, “like so many others in the documentary, offers an unfiltered look into Wade’s life.”

At a recent screening, Wade told the audience that it was a “struggle” to decide how much to share.

Viewers are also given a glimpse into Wade’s marriage to wife Gabrielle Union, as well as the tumultuous early years before he achieved basketball fame.

Wade was drafted fifth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Miami Heat. He won championships with the team in 2006, ’12 and ’13, before retiring in April 2019.

Despite achieving global baller status, Wade tells Yahoo Finance he still to this day worries about not having money.

“It takes moments sometimes when I’m like, huh, that’s what I got in the bank, OK. But I still live with that mentality [of not having money] like literally, I have one car. And I have an Audi QE,” Wade told Yahoo Finance ahead of the release of “Life Unexpected.”

D. Wade has been touring for screenings of his documentary, including one in his Chicago hometown just before All-Star Weekend.

“I look at my life like it’s someone else’s story,” he says in the documentary, which features home movies and never-before-seen moments, according to ET.

“There are so many parts of my life when I hear my sister or my cousins or I hear my brothers or someone talk about our life, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, yes. That did happen!’”

“D. Wade: Life Unexpected” airs February 23 on ESPN.
