*Earlier today it was reported by TMZ that that 20-year-old rapper Pop Smoke had been shot and killed in a home invasion robbery.
Details surrounding his death are not clear at the moment, but law enforcement sources have a few leads into the events prior to the fatal shooting.

- Pop Smoke was shot at a Hollywood Hills home at about 4:30am Wednesday
- Two masked men broke into the home and opened fire on the rapper
- He was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead
- The suspects are still at large and it is unclear if they’ve been identified by police
- The house where the attack occurred is owned by actor and producer Edwin Arroyave, husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp
- It’s been speculated that Pop Smoke was renting the property from Arroyave
- Several artists including Nicki Minaj, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and 50 Cent have paid tribute to Pop Smoke on social media
