*Sporting black leather and throwback door-knocker earrings, Janet Jackson graced the “Tonight Show” with her presence Monday night to promote her newly announced Black Diamond album and world tour.
She chatted with host Jimmy Fallon about coming of age in Minneapolis with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, getting “messed up” on brandy, the story behind her 1986 hit “Nasty,” and the whereabouts of her old earring key to the family’s animal cages.
Ms. Jackson also gushed over her three-year-old son Eissa and his obsession with classical music, and teased her upcoming Black Diamond album and world tour, including what she said was “a special performance of ‘Rhythm Nation.'”
