*Count Snoop Dogg among the people who were offended by Gayle King’s interview with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.
To recap, Oprah’s homegirl got a ton of backlash this week for bringing up Kobe Bryant’s 2003 rape case during an interview with Leslie on “CBS This Morning” about the legacy of the late NBA icon.
“We expect more from you, Gayle. Don’t you hang out with Oprah?” Snoop, who was close friends with Bryant, asks in an Instagram video addressing King directly. He then asks why both she and Oprah Winfrey aren’t giving the same investigative attention to white men accused of rape like Harvey Weinstein.
The rapper then asks his viewers if it’s okay to call King a b**ch. Seconds later, he’s calling her a “funky dog-head b**ch,” and telling her to “back off before we come get you.”
