Let’s just say that MSNBC reporter Alison Morris was not the first TV personality to let a racial slur slide out during a broadcast. Morris said she got tongue tied when her attempt at the word “Lakers” came out sounding like the N-word. Here are the other examples of white folks “accidentally” saying something racially offensive.
For what it’s worth…
Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.
