This Year’s Grammy Awards Receives Lowest Rating’s Ever

Well, the ratings for this year’s award show are out—and they are exactly what you might expect. ________________ Despite some of the biggest artists in the music industry in attendance and featuring some memorable performances, the 2020 Grammys fell incredibly short from a ratings perspective. @RevoltTV reports, this year’s Grammy Awards were the lowest rated in the history of the show. According to the Nielsen ratings, the three-hour award show only received 18.7 million viewers, easily making it lowest-rated broadcast ever. ________________ The 2020 Grammys dropped roughly 6% from last year’s ratings and, in comparison, a 53% drop from the 2012 Grammys eight years ago.
