“The Breakfast Club” today featured audio of Shaquille O’Neal speaking on his podcast about “not doing well” amid the death of his former Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant and continued grief over the cancer death of his sister Ayesha in October. Shaq downplays the beef he shared with Bryant during their time on the Lakers, and mentions his son Shareef’s DM from Kobe the morning of the crash. Co-host Angela Yee also talks about the status of Kobe’s book project with The Alchemist writer Paulo Coelho.
The Breakfast Club also brought on Pastor T.D. Jakes to talk about why God allows tragedies like this to happen, and how best to deal with grief.
