Wait! Hold da hell up! Did we just hear an MSNBC anchor use the n-word while reporting the death of Kobe Bryant?
Or was it simply a case of Allison Morris stumbling over her words, leaving social media to debate: Did she say “Los Angeles [N-word]” or, as she claims, “Los Angeles Nakers?”
Well, we can’t be 100 percent certain, but you could make a VERY STRONG argument that says “yes, she said it,” but caught herself just in time … or did she?
Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.
