*Oscar-nominated actor Will Smith gave a few Miami fans the surprise of a lifetime when he went undercover as a Lyft driver, as part of a promotion called “Bad Boys for Lyft.”
Smith shared footage to his YouTube channel from the promotional stunt for his latest movie.
According to Smith, the carefully selected Lyft passengers were told they were going to check out some new in-car technology, but as it turns out, they got the Hollywood superstar as their driver instead.
“I guess I’m the new technology,” Smith joked.

Smith’s car for the day was a 2020 Porsche Taycan.

The promotional video shows the actor driving four passengers in the new Porsche Taycan car. German automobile manufacturer Porsche’s new Taycan, which was first unveiled as a concept car at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, is an electric vehicle. The car gives a maximum speed of 162 MPH (Miles per hour) and can reach up to 100 km/h speed in 2.8 seconds. Porsche Taycan has been equipped with an 800-volt system, suggesting it can be charged quickly. The car has four-point LED headlights, lateral air curtains and a 16.8-inch curved display as well.
Smith made one of his passengers FaceTime with his girlfriend after he said she watched the original “Bad Boys” movie weekly.
At the end of the ride, Smith gave each of the passengers a year’s worth of free Lyft rides.
