*(Via UrbanHollywood411) – The 2020 Grammy Awards will honor late rapper Nipsey Hussle with a star-studded tribute, the Recording Academy announced Tuesday (01-21-20).
Among the artists booked to take part in the tribute are Kirk Franklin, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and YG.
“An activist, entrepreneur and rapper, Nipsey Hussle had a lasting impact on not just his community, but also the culture at large,” Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement. “We are honored to bring together this amazing group of artists to celebrate Nipsey’s life and pay tribute to his many contributions to music. It’s sure to be a memorable performance.”
Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedom, was fatally shot in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. He was 33 years old.
