Despite the Past, Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell Are Good and ‘Always Will Be’ – VIDEO

*It looks like things are all good between Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell. We know this because both Martin and Tisha recently set the record straight.

It all has to do with the fact that for years the two performers were estranged due to the fact that Campbell accused Lawrence of sexual harassment when they worked together on the “Martin” sitcom which ran for 5 years on Fox.

The issue was brought up while Lawrence was out promoting his new film with Will Smith, “Bad Boys for Life” when a GQ magazine interviewer asked Martin how he was able to move past Tisha’s allegations of sexual harassment.

It wasn’t a problem, he responded, because “none of that was true. It was all bullsh*t.”

Lawrence’s comment, however, caught the attention of Campbell and during her appearance on CBS’ “The Talk,” she admitted that she was “shocked” by what the comedian/actor said and she reached out to him.

“I can’t go into much detail about the past because there was a confidentiality agreement, so the gag order says no. But, what I can say is… I was actually kind of shocked.

“I hit him up. He called me within a minute… He was like, ‘Don’t read into what it is, there’s a lot of people that’s trying to bring up the past, and trying to make it news today. But, you know T, we’re good. I love you. I love your family.’

“Again, I’m not going to go into details, because I want to respect his privacy and I want to respect mine. But I will say, by the end of it, it was nothing but laughter and healing. And I got a chance to experience that. And I’m so glad that we’re in a good place right now.”

As we said up top, Martin Lawrence also spoke on the issue. He did it by signing on to his Instagram and posted the sweet little message below.

“Regardless of the past or any misrepresentation of it In the press, I have nothin but love for Tisha then and now. We are good and always will be! #teammartymar #yougogirl”
