Yung Joc Clowned After Clip Surfaces of Him Driving for Rideshare App in Atlanta

Yung Joc

*After images surfaced online of rapper Yung Joc driving for a rideshare company, inquiring minds want to know if the part-time reality TV star is broke or pulling a publicity stunt?

As reported by gossiponthis.com, video footage surfaced Sunday afternoon (Jan. 12) showing the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star driving random people around.

According to The Shade Room, the clip was filmed on Thursday (Jan. 9), and shows passengers questioning Joc about why he’s driving people for money.

“You sound like somebody I know,” one of the passengers said.

“I just wanna ask a question. Are you Young Joc?” Can you turn around?” the other passenger asked.

“I think y’all already put that part together,” Joc said as he pulled back his hoodie.

After Joc confirms his identity, one of the passengers, says, “Oh, so you must’ve fell off or something.”

Joc admits that he has been driving people around for about 30 to 40 days.

“How you Young Joc and you [driving] for PullUpnGo?” the passenger replies.

Joc goes on to explain that it’s an easy way for him to make easy money.

“I gotta fall off? I just felt like it was an easy way to get some easy money downtown. I meet people.”

One Twitter user noted “Those people that recorded Young Joc driving Uber are the same type of ugly people that took a picture of Geoffrey Owens last year at Trader Joe’s. If Young Joc was caught selling drugs nobody would bat an eye, why degrade a man trying to make an honest living.”

Do you agree?

Meanwhile, when TMZ caught up with the rapper, Joc explained that he heard about the ride-share app from a friend and decided to sign up as a driver.

Joc says “his new side-hustle is actually his way of teaching an important lesson to the next generation,” the outlet writes.

Yung Joc works with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta and this gig is his way of teaching the youth that they should never be ashamed or prideful to try a new gig.
