EURweb Ancient History Hunter #BlackWallStreet Holiday Gift Giveaway Announced!

*”They was killing Black People!”

In Tulsa Oaklahoma,  one of the most horrific terrorist act ever to take place in American history – is still very haunting in 2020.

For two days starting May 31 of  1921, a gangland-style mob of immigrants burned, destroyed and pillaged, businesses and homes belonging to the upwardly mobile,  well established and flourishing Negro (black) community,  in the now-infamous Greenwood Oaklahoma, a prosperous town better known as “Black Wall Street.”

It’s said, several hundred or more unarmed Americans were slaughtered. However, there is no official count. Ten thousand plus were left homeless and destitute. Forty blocks of prime Oaklahoma land,  enriched with oil, minerals and other natural resources were stolen and left in ruins.

Survivors, testimonies reveal the true horror of Black bodies loaded onto trains,  dumped off of bridges into the Arkansas River and haphazardly tossed into unmarked man-made trenches.
