*Black Twitter is not feeling Madame Tussauds’ new Nicki Minaj wax figure. But as it turns out… it’s not as “new” as many believe.
Several Minaj fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with the wax figure that debut in Berlin, Germany this week.
As you can see from the images embedded within this post, fans aren’t seeing the resemblance to the rapper.
The display features Minaj in her iconic “Anaconda” music video, but many fans are having a “Harpo, who dis woman?” moment, because the designers delivered an #epicfail when it to comes her facial features.

“Listen, I’m not even die hard Nicki Minaj fan but she can RAP & ppl don’t give her talent the credit it deserves,” one Twitter user said, via PEOPLE. “That wax figure Madame Tussaud’s put out…that’s not Onika Maraj. I’m so sorry. Does google not exist? They looked at that mess & said “yh, we got it”. No, you don’t.”
“Nah nicki Minaj wax figure at madam Tussaud’s in Germany has me weak lmfao,” one Twitter user wrote.
“I need a logical explanation why @NICKIMINAJ wax figure is lookin like Kourtney Kardashion lol,” another added.
“Whoever did that wax figure of Nicki Minaj needs to be fired,” wrote one Twitter user. Another person tweeted, “Y’all see that Nicki Minaj wax figure?????? whoever did that needs a kick and more.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Minaj gave her wax likeness her stamp of approval … more than 4 years ago. Its also the same one unveiled in August 2015 at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. It was hauled off to Germany because “the museum loans statues out frequently to mix up the attractions at its various locations,” the outlet writes.
Fans previously slammed the wax figure at the museum’s Las Vegas location.
“Did people forget how unrecognizably bad that Nicki Minaj wax figure looked the first time it went around?” one Twitter user pointed out.
