Trump-loving Kanye West Slams Liberals as the ‘Real Bullies’ in America [WATCH]

*The Daily Beast has published a preview of David Letterman’s interview with Kanye West — which the site describes as “one of the most coherent and engaging interviews Kanye has ever given, even if it does go off the rails at times.”

During their chat for Letterman’s Netflix show, which begins streaming next Friday, Ye touches on a myriad of topics, including music, fashion, his late mother and of course the rapper’s support of Donald Trump.

“This is like my thing with Trump — we don’t have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel,” he says, claiming his “Make America Great Again” hat is “not about politics” but rather an attempt to shatter the stigma around supporters of Trump.

West believes Trump voters are “treated like enemies of America.”

After Letterman notes that the president has actually let down many of his supporters, West says, “Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat?”

When asked who the real bullies in America are, Ye replies, “Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Kanye shares a heartwarming memory about his mother Donda about the time she bought him an inanimate bear that he mocked and turned his nose up to.

“I remember my mother bought me a bear that was multicolored, and I was very into [Japanese contemporary artist] Takashi Murakami at that time on that third album, Graduation,” West recalls. “She said it kind of, you know, feels like Takashi Murakami. And then I was sort of like, ‘I don’t want that, that ain’t no Takashi Murakami bear, and stuff like that.

“And then she passed…a few weeks after,” he continues, “and I did everything I could to find that bear and place that bear on top of all the Takashi Murakami stuff I had in the house.”

Season 2 of “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” premieres on Netflix May 31.
