Jeannie Mai: What happened?
Loni: Tamera Mowry-Housley debuted a brand-new look!
Adrienne Houghton: Yes, she did!
Tamera Mowry-Housley: Hey girl, hey!
[The Real audience applauds]
Loni: You look amazing!
Jeannie: Hunnay! So fancy!
Loni: What inspired you – those are locs, right?
Tamera: Yeah, these are locs! Remember I said I wanted to do them on the show? Actually, fun fact, my mom’s side of the family is from the Bahamas. Eleuthera. If you guys ever have the chance to go, please go. It’s one of the most beautiful islands. This is actually kind of like my alter ego, like [ADOPTS ISLAND ACCENT] her name is Anya, she’s from the islands… I’ve always…
Adrienne: With an accent on the end!
Tamera: [REGULAR VOICE] Yes! I’ve always wanted to do this, so I was like, “Why not? Let’s just do it!”
[The Real audience applauds]
Tamera: I love it. And you know, summer’s coming.
Jeannie: What did Ariah say when she saw it?
Tamera: You know what, I was a little nervous, because you know, kids can be blunt. The first time she saw me she said, “Mommy. So pretty! I like your hair!” So I loved it. And Adam. You know. He looooooooooved it.
Adrienne: He loved it. It’s a good look.
Jeannie: He what, wait, he what?
Loni: Here we go.
Jeannie: I don’t know about this!
Tamera: Oh yeah.
Loni: He had no choice but to like it!
Tamera: That’s true! But it’s nice, you know! It’s nice when you – he was like, “You’re just so sexy. I love it.”
Jeannie: Wait, wait, wait. So does with Anya, does she come with like a certain accent or anything?
Tamera: [WITH ISLAND ACCENT] We’re from the islands, mon, yeah!
Jeannie: [SQUEALS]
[The Real audience applauds]
Tamera: Anya.
Jeannie: I’m into some role-playing! Yeah!
Adrienne: You got a whole new woman!
Loni: Well, you look fabulous, ok? You look fabulous.
Tamera: Jeannie! I love you, girl.
