*Angela Rye has finally opened up about the real reason she and Common called it quits, again.
We previously reported… the rapper and the CNN political analyst have had a roller coaster of a romance, breaking up and making up numerous times. Common and Rye started dating in the summer of 2017, but called it quits in March 2018.
In August 2019, Common opened up about going to therapy to “fix” himself before pursuing a relationship with Angela again. They got back together only to break up by October.
According to Angela, the main reason for the split was because she wanted kids, and he didn’t. As reported by The YBF, Common already has an adult daughter in law school and Angela said she understands “not wanting to start over”

Here’s what Rye had to say about their breakup:
“We had been talking for about 2 months about let’s see where things go because I’m leaning towards ‘I want kids’ and he was leaning towards ‘I don’t know.’ ….. He said ‘I don’t know if I want to have kids.’ So I said, ‘I don’t know what else there is to talk about.’ I think it was an impeccable parting of ways. We’re very clear about the fact that we were not aligned in those interests. We will always be friends. He’s a really good person.”
Angela then revealed she’s already back in the dating game, and in the clip above, she dishes about the new man in her life. Check it at the 1:14:00 mark.
So, who’s she dating now? A restaurateur and father-of-three named Karim Webb.
