*Blueface is catching heat from folks accusing him of “shaming” the homeless by making it rain on the less fortunate citizens of Los Angeles.

On Monday, the rapper was recorded tossing cash from the roof of the vehicle to the people on Skid Row. Some are giving him props for the generous move, others are accusing the artist of acting a fool for clout.

Peep the video below that’s got folks debating across social media about what it means to give.

One Facebook user commented on the clip, “This is not giving back!! This is some clout chasing bs!!! If you want to give me money to help me then do that! Not you throw it up in the air at me like a stripper I will have no respect for you and even more important I’m gone be ready to kick your ass! Bad Look Blueface!! Standing up on the truck like you over somebody! Just dumb ?? #myopinion what’s yours?”

Another added, “He blessed them but in a trifling way.”

A third commenter wrote, “i’m not gonna talk bad about the man. i have done the same thing on my birthday for the kid’s in my neighborhood. and it was all in fun then we ate cake and ice cream.”

Meanwhile, actress Pia Glenn is one of many who is not impressed.

“There’s a dreadful video (I won’t post it) showing the rapper Blueface standing on a car throwing $ at unhoused &underserved ppl. Some might think that’s some “baller shit.” Many will think he’s “giving back.” What he’s doing is DEMORALIZING and HUMILIATING ppl who deserve better,” she wrote.

When a user fired back by asking “How much you giving them?,” Glenn responded: “I certainly don’t have money like that but I actually do work regularly with those communities. I’m not saying he needs to do what I do, but even walking around saying hello and chatting while physically handing out cash would’ve been better. As opposed to that weird Joker sh*t.”

Another user called the clip “disgusting and degrading.”

But DJ Akademiks disagrees, writing on Twitter: “They say a lot about BlueFACE but they never mention that he one of the most generous rappers in the game … here he is humbly donating $50,000 to the less fortunate! THANK U BLUEFACE.”
