*(Via UrbanHollywood411) – The House of Representatives impeached President Donald Trump Wednesday night for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress as it investigated his July phone call to Ukraine.
The votes in the Democratic-controlled House made Trump just the third sitting president in U.S. history to be impeached.
On Comedy Central’s Daily Show, host Trevor Noah noted the gravity of the situation, although he found humor in Trump’s reaction.
“After 85 days of inquiries and debates, today was finally the big day,” Noah said.

He then tossed to a segment called “The Magical, Wonderful Road to Impeachment,” which included several news clips.

Noah’s favorite news report came from CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta, who read one of Trump’s tweets this morning ahead of the impeachment votes.
Trump insisted “I did nothing wrong,” called the upcoming vote “a terrible thing,” and asked his followers to “say a prayer.”
Noah cracked up laughing.
