*Could it be that singe/rapper Lizzo is having second thoughts about literally showing her big ol’ round arse by twerking to all the world while at a Lakers game on Sunday?
Not that it really matters, but for the record, and for what it’s worth, she did have on a black thong that was visible at all times because her black t-shirt/dress was cut in the back to show off da booty. OK, anyway, as we were about to say, she has reacted to blowback from folks who didn’t appreciate what she was doing because of where she did it.
On top of that, according to Sandra Rose, a bunch of Lakers fans “called the Staples Center to complain and demand they ban Lizzo from future games.”
Yep, it seems that negative reaction prompted the entertainer, who seems to be as fragile as she is feisty, to share her feelings about the stunt in an Instagram Live chat with fans. The video is available above.
She was kinda all over the place, from wanting to bold and to being vulnerable. She went from telling her critics to kiss her azz cheeks and then saying that everyone is important and “be blessed.”
“Your criticism has no effect on me,” she said. “Negative criticism has no stake in my life; no control over my life, over my emotions. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m surrounded by love and I just wanna spread that love and also spread these cheeks. And you know if you really really don’t like my azz, you can kiss it.”

Here’s more of what she had to say on the chat:
“I’m not gonna censor myself… I’m not gonna shrink myself because somebody thinks that I’m not sexy to them. (Laughs) Bitch, you really think ’cause somebody on Twitter thinks that I’m not cute, I’m gonna stop existing?”
She added:
“I’m blessed and I want you to know that you’re blessed. I want you to know that you woke up this morning and that’s a blessing. I want you to know that the sun is shining somewhere. That’s a blessing, and even if it’s raining, it’s cleansing you. It’s a blessing.”
At one point she teared up as she recalled being homeless and sleeping in her car.
“It felt surreal. I was, like, is this my life? I didn’t want to be here anymore… I can’t do this anymore. I’m not gonna make it… I think about those times now and I’m like, God is so real y’all.”
She thanked her fans for their support before adding.
“So I’ma keep doing whatever the f*ck I wanna do and I hope that that inspires you to do whatever the f*ck you wanna do… These are happy tears. Remember: I’m crying ’cause I love you. Don’t you forget it.”
