Weekend Watch: ‘Frozen II’ is a Scintillating Sequel – VIDEO

Frozen II” is a scintillating sequel and better than the first. It has all the bells and whistles of “Frozen,” but amped up visuals, empowerment, a love story, and inclusion. “Frozen II” is perfect holiday fun for the whole family.

Granted fantasy film making is not held to the same standards as reality-based reels, but presenting a world where diversity doesn’t exist is foolhardy to say the least. “Frozen II” took off its blinders and added color. With colorful, courageous characters added and mysteries unfolding, “Frozen II”s appeal is far more reaching.

In this second time around, “Frozen II” is more of a coming of age story. Elsa (Idina Menzel) and sister Anna (Kristen Bell) are as thick as thieves. A haunting call from the enchanted forest will take them on a dangerous but remarkable journey that will explain Elsa’s magical powers.
