*Folks are saying thank you to former First Lady Michelle Obama for sharing a snap of the former First Family just in time for Thanksgiving.

“From our family to yours, #HappyThanksgiving!” Mrs. Obama wrote on Twitter. And the first thing you notice is that Sasha and Malia have grown up to be gorgeous young women. They are now 18 and 21, respectively.

And even though President Obama left office in 2016, he Obamas have stayed busy ever since, especially in the last year.

Of course, Michelle Obama released her memoir, “Becoming,” in late 2018 which has gone on to sell more than 10 million copies and counting. She’s since spent much of the year on a book tour that recently resulted in a Grammy nomination for best-spoken word album, an award Mr. Obama won in 2006 and 2008 for his own audiobooks.

The former first lady also announced the release of a new journal, “Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice,” which features an intro from her and 150 questions and quotes to inspire readers to write down their own journey, reports People

And speaking of writing, President Obama has been composing his new memoir which is set to be available sometime before the 2020 election. He wrote down a first draft on legal pads, just as he did for his first book, “Dreams of My Father.”

As far as today, Thanksgiving Day, the former president tweeted an image of the family of four volunteering.

“Today, we give thanks for our blessings, give back to those around us, and enjoy some time — and turkey, and maybe a little football — with the ones we love. From the Obama family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving,” he wrote.
He even shared some tips on how to brace for the inevitable dinner table debate.
“Before arguing with friends or family around the Thanksgiving table, take a look at the science behind arguing better,” he tweeted with a Vox article on the topic. “And it’ll never hurt to try this: ‘Listen to people, get them to think about their own experience, and highlight your common humanity.'”
