*Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has teamed up with Will Arnett to produce a basketball-themed comedy series for Fox.

Curry and Arnett will serve as executive producers on “The Second Half,” which centers on “a retired NBA player who moves back to his home of Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon coming home, he purchases a car wash and attempts to reconnect with the family he left behind, as well as his ex-girlfriend and best friend from childhood,” per Complex.

Curry launched his company Unanimous Media in 2018, and has many projects in the works about sports and family.

“This is Stephen’s brain child. This is Stephen wanting to use his platform to impact and inspire,” said Unanimous Media co-founders Jeron Smith. “And when we all sat down and talked about the opportunity in media, there was no better way to inspire people than film, television and digital. Media became a vehicle to inspire, to impact and to bring families together.”

Co-founder Erick Peyton added, “We want to work on projects that move people. It’s really as simple as that—storylines to draw people in and make them think or make them feel and bring them together.

The three-time NBA champion is also teaming up with John Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co. and Sony Pictures to create the basketball movie “Signing Day.” Acording to Variety, the project is part of Curry’s multi-year deal with Sony, and is “in the vein of ‘Jerry Maguire.'”

The plot will surround a sports agent who toys with using illegal tactics in order to get a young star as one of his clients. The movie will reportedly have a female lead who will play the sports agent at odds, according to CBS Sports.

Curry is also the producer of the docuseries “Benedict Men” and a documentary about the 2016 Charleston Church shooting.
