*When he’s not serving up the laughs, comedian Dave Chappelle reportedly enjoys life on a farm near Yellow Springs, Ohio, where he lives with his wife Elaine and their three kids.
According to glamourfame.com, Elaine’s parents moved to the States from the Philippines, and she was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she met Dave later in life.
When the couple first met, she wasn’t as into him as much as he was digging on her. She also wasn’t impressed by his fame and career as a professional comic. But according to the report, she ultimately fell in love with his charm.

Dave and Elaine tied the knot in 2001 in a private ceremony, and they share three children: oldest son Sulayman, middle child Ibrahim, and their youngest, daughter Sonal.
“I want to tell my jokes. I want to have time with my children. I want to entertain people. And at one point, I’ll walk away from show business. But I don’t want to walk away empty-handed,” Chapelle once said.
He also joked about his kids during a performance at the Radio City Music Hall in 2014, saying: “My wife is Asian, and my kids have somehow turned out to be Puerto Rican.” .
Elaine allegedly had high hopes of becoming a professional chef but after the birth of her children, she decided to settle into life as a stay-at-home and celebrity wife — although, she prefers to keep it on the low.
“She doesn’t work as a professional chef, [but the kids] regularly eat like kings at home, thanks to her excellent culinary skills,” Dave previously said.

Elaine’s repel against fame can be witnessed with her decision not to be on social media. Plus, she is rarely seen in public with her husband. She likes to fend off public appearances, but she does appear with him where it matters. With her influence, Dave is also very inactive on social media.
