*On Sunday, Kanye West announced plans to premiere his first opera, “Nebuchadnezzar: A Kanye West Opera,” on Nov. 24 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the opera, titled after the king of Babylon mentioned in the Book of Daniel, are on sale now.

In related news, Ye is joining forces with Dr. Dre to release a collaborative project titled “Jesus Is King Part II,” Complex reports.

As the outlet notes, West previously praised Dre in the Rolling Stone piece on 100 Greatest Artists. “I first met Dre in December of 2003. He asked me to produce a track for the Game. At first I was star-struck, but within 30 minutes I was begging him to mix my next album,” Kanye recalled. “He’s the definition of a true talent: Dre feels like God placed him here to make music, and no matter what forces are aligned against him, he always ends up on the mountaintop.”

Dre and Ye announced their collab on Twitter Monday (Nov. 18), and it comes  less than a month after ‘Ye released his gospel album, “Jesus Is King” — see post above.

The news follows Kanye’s appearance at Joel Osteen’s famed Lakewood Church and Sunday Service performance, where he proclaimed to be the greatest artist ever created by God.

West believes  “God is now using him.”

“Because every time I stand up, I feel that I’m standing up and drawing a line in the sand and saying, ‘I’m here in service to God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper,’ ” he said during the Sunday morning Service at the megachurch in Texas.

“Jesus has won the victory. I told you about my arrogance and cockiness already. Now the greatest artist that God has ever created is now working for him,” West added.
