Head Coach’s Wife’s Pre-game Kiss to Players Causing Controversy – WATCH

*So what do you think of this so-called new “sports tradition?” The University of Florida‘s football head coach Dan Mullen‘s wife, Megan Mullen, gives every player a “good luck” kiss and/or hug before every game
Different, huh? Yeah, it’s also controversial, too.

Here’s the deal. Before every game, Megan Mullen gives each player a kiss or a hug for good luck … whether they like it or not. Yep, Mrs. Mullen greets every player in her own very personal way before each game. Well, let’s just say that a lot of people aren’t too thrilled with this new “sports tradition.”

AN OPEN LETTER TO ‘HARRIET’ HATERS LIKE DR. BOYCE WATKINS AND OTHERS

Guess what? According to TheYBF, this is nothing new for Mrs. Mullen.

Last year, she explained in an interview why she greets the players the way she does. When her husband came back to the program as head coach in 2018, he wanted to change the “culture” of the program. He brought in new assistant coaches and coordinators to help with that. Not only did they get new coaches, the players also earned a “surrogate mother” thanks to Megan. She considers the college football players an extension of her family.

We guess it doesn’t matter what (or if) they consider her.

Def a weird “tradition” and kind of gross when you think about all the germs being transferred to each person. And gross for other reasons that we don’t even need to flat out state.

BTW, last weekend, the Gators lost to the Georgia Bulldogs 24-17.

Obviously Mrs. Mullen’s “good luck” kiss doesn’t work every time… if at all.

And your thoughts are?
