Donald Trump Rips Chicago’s Top Cop (Eddie Johnson) for Boycotting His Speech in Chi-town – VIDEO

*Being that he’s the undisputed top a-hole in the White House, Donald Trump went in on the top cop in Chicago, Eddie Johnson, for having the gall to boycott his speech to other police chiefs at an event in the Windy City because the spiraling crime rate is indefensible.

‘He’s not doing his job,’ Trump declared about Johnson.

“It’s embarrassing to us as a nation,” Trump said of Chicago’s murder rate. “All over the world, they’re talking about Chicago. Afghanistan is a safer place by comparison. It’s true.”

Trump wasn’t through. He added …

“I said, ‘Where is he? I want to talk to him?’ In fact more than anyone else, this person should be here, because maybe he could learn something.”

To which, Johnson replied …

“The values of the people of Chicago are more important than anything President Trump would have to say.”

“I don’t think so,” Trump responded. “Because that’s a very insulting statement, after all, I’ve done for the police. And I’ve done more than any other president has ever done for the police.”

“And here’s a man that could not bother to show up for a meeting of police chiefs, the most respected people in the country, in his hometown, and with the President of the United States,” Trump added.

The bottom line is that Chicago’s gun violence epidemic has proven to be quite vexing for local leaders and Johnson to deal with. We’re talking 565 murders in 2018 and 13,067 shootings since Johnson took over the department.

“Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the United States. That doesn’t seem to be working too well, does it?” asked the president, who is a vocal backer of the Second Amendment. So, is he saying there needs to be even MORE guns on the streets of Chicago?

And since he was in Chicago, he had to also bring up the Jussie Smollett situation.

“Jussie Smollett, who beat up – himself!” Trump said. “And he said MAGA country did it! MAGA country,” Trump said. He even referred to Smollett a “wise guy.”

“He said it’s a hate crime. A hate crime. And it’s a big scam, just like the impeachment of your president is a scam. … Smollett is still trying to get away with it,” Trump said, apparently looking for sympathy.
