‘The Irishman’ Drops Friday In Theaters – WATCH

Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman” starring acting icons Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci drops on Sunday.

The $159 million biographic crime film is based on the book “I Heard You Paint Houses” by Charles Brandt from 2004.

Robert De Niro (portrays Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran), Al Pacino (portrays Jimmy Hoffa) and Joe Pesci (portrays Russell Bufalino) in this epic saga of organized crime in post-war America as told through the eyes of World War II veteran Sheeran, a hustler and a hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

“The Irishman” will be in select theaters on November 1 and on Netflix on November 27.

The film had its world premiere during the 57th New York Film Festival on September 27 and last night, Netflix hosted the Los Angeles premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
