*Wendy Williams is reportedly having a hard time booking celebrity guests for the 11th season of her talk show, and it’s all because of her mean girl antics.

A close source connected to the production spilled to The Daily Mail that the talker is struggling to book A-list guests because of Williams’ slick mouth and knack for attacking friends and colleagues on-air.

Via the Daily Mail source:

“There’s always been a segment of Hollywood stars who would never come on Wendy’s show. There are still a lot of big-name black stars in particular who made a vow a decade ago to never appear on her show based on things she said about them doing her radio days.

“But just when we thought things would be easier for getting guests and engaging people who aren’t just reality stars and B-players in sitcoms and movies, she’s making it hard again.”

We previously reported that Wendy’s talk show has been renewed for 2 more seasons.

“Wendy is family to us, and post-AM news, her program jumpstarts the day in our markets,” said Frank Cicha, EVP Programming at Fox Television Stations. “Plus, she’s got enough wigs to make sure the show never gets stale.”

But just how fresh can they keep the programming if there’s a lack of interest from Hollywood influencers to appear on the show?

Wendy show insiders claim next season will likely be her last, and there was even talk that actor Jerry O’Connell was being considered to takeover her daytime slot.

O’Connell guest co-hosted Williams’ show several times earlier this year during her medical-related hiatus. He tested his own talk show over the summer that was executive produced by Williams. But on her season 11 premiere episode, Wendy shaded her pal Jerry and announced that his show had not been picked up by a network. However, her own producer quickly made clear that O’Connell’s show is still being pitched to  networks.

“She knew good and well what the hell she was doing,” the source said.

“Once Wendy got her green light to return for two more seasons, she didn’t have to play nice any longer and pretend she was onboard with Jerry’s show being her sibling show,” the source added.

“She always believed her executives were trying to groom Jerry to replace her and that pretend mix-up she did on-air was her Wendy way of sabotaging Jerry.”

Most recently, Williams slammed supermodel Christie Brinkley by claiming she faked her Dancing with the Stars wrist injury, and she also helped reignite a feud between Tamar Braxton and her former “The Real” co-hosts.

The network is said to be frustrated that they can’t book any A-list celebrity guests.
