Bounce TV’s Hit Comedy ‘Family Time’ Season 7 Premieres October 9 at 9/8c – WATCH!

*Bounce TV’s first original series “Family Time” will return for its 7th season on October 9.

In a recent panel discussion with media, during a set visit, the cast of the hit comedy say viewers should expect to learn more about characters Rachel and Lori, deeper storylines around the Stallworth kids, an intimate look at Lisa and Anthony as they embark on becoming empty nesters.

Expect celebrity cameos from the likes of hip hop artist Lady of Rage, fitness guru Billy Blanks, comedian Rodney Perry, Stokley Williams (Mint Condition) and Actor Blue Kimble (The Bobby Debarge Story) in addition to the introductions of new faces.

“That’s what I love about this show! It’s like you recognize their faces but may not know their names or vice versa and I feel like Bentley (Kyle Evans) has always been great at opening it up and not just giving “name” actors jobs,” said Angell Conwell, who plays Lisa Stallworth and also stars as Veronica on the BET comedy series “Bigger.”

During the conversation, cast members also touched on how their careers were impacted by the late Director John Singleton and why the show has maintained its popularity over the years.

“Although we are a fully black cast, this is not a black show. This is just a show that happens to be full of black actors and actresses,” said Clayton Thomas, who plays Donnie. “You have truly talented actors and actresses that are a part of this and every year, because we are now in our 7th season, we continue to knock it out of the park and we can contend with any other show.”

“Family Time” follows the lives of the Stallworth family who relocated to the suburbs after hitting the lottery. High school sweethearts Tony (Omar Gooding) and Lisa (Conwell) wrangle each other and their mischievous children, Devin and Ebony, as they make up their own rules for love, marriage and family along the way. Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr., Jayla Calhoun, Clayton Thomas, Tanjareen Thomas and Paula Jai Parker round out the cast.
