*Rapper Jim Jones once had a hit called “Ballin,” but that’s been a minute or two and apparently his money has been funny ever since. Or, at least it is now.

We know all this because it’s just come to light that Jones and his longtime main squeeze, Chrissy Lampkin, have had their New Jersey mansion foreclosed on and sold at auction, according to BOSSIP.

The site reports that the U.S. National Bank Association sued the reality TV couple in 2017 for allegedly failing to pay their mortgage since 2010. According to the complaint, Jones bought the house in 2006, and took out a $680,000 mortgage with a 6.875 percent interest rate. He agreed to make monthly payments of $4,467.

The problem for Jones is that he didn’t honor his end of the deal.  According to the bank, Jones stopped making payments almost ten years ago, and under the terms of his mortgage, if he went into default the entire amount would be due.

We then learned that in 2018, the bank said it reached an agreement with Jones and Lampkin to pay the debt and get the home out of foreclosure. However, the deal obviously fell apart because eight months later, the bank asked the court to issue a final judgment against Jones and Lampkin. That means the Dip Set rapper allegedly owes $1.2 million on the mortgage.

When the smoke cleared, the $680,000 home was recently auctioned off for just $100 in foreclosure.

Bottom line: somebody got a hell of a deal and Jim Jones’ credit is shot.  And that’s putting it mildly.

If you’ve been keeping up with the news of another rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is being tried by the feds, you know he snitched on Jones. Here’s what we reported earlier:

*On Thursday, (Sept. 19), Tekashi 6ix9ine took the stand for day three of his testimony against former Nine Trey associates Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack’. His hours-long testimony was highlighted by the bombshell reveal that rapper Jim Jones is part of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The prosecution played a phone call between Jones and alleged Nine Trey godfather Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones.

“He not a gang member no more,” Jones reportedly said in a wiretapped phone call when the subject of 6ix9ine came up, per Complex. “He was never a gang member. They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bullshit.”

In the same phone call, Jones allegedly said that Kifano ‘Shotti’ Jordan should “stalk” the “every move” of 6ix9ine.
