*Kevin Hart says get ready for a lawsuit! His message is regarding the vintage 1970 Plymouth Barracuda that he and others were injured in earlier this month.
The issue is that the little funnyman is catching it from those who were injured in the Sept. 1 crash, including the driver and a second passenger. They say Hart showed negligence for not having critical safety features installed like airbags and safety harnesses, so says a TMZ report.
The missing safeguards — standard in more modern vehicles —were not common back in the 1970s, so Hart reportedly passed on them for an extra bit of authenticity.
Another party that needs to be concerned and consider lawyering up is the body shop that designed Hart’s car. It could also be liable for allowing the custom job to go through, reported TMZ. The site noted a negligence claim could be rooted in the body shop’s decision to go ahead with the job despite the lack of modern safeguards in the powerful, 720 horsepower engine vehicle.
