Snoop Dogg Seriously Suggests Steelers Call Kaepernick After QB Roethlisberger’s Injury

*We all know what a hardcore Pittsburgh Steelers fan Snoop Dogg is. Well, he’s taking his fandom to a whole other level now that the team needs a QB.

If you haven’t heard, franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is over and out for the season due to an elbow injury in Sunday’s game in which they lost to Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks, their second straight loss to open the season.

So yes, things are really dire in the ‘Burgh why is why Uncle Snoop has come up with what he thinks is the solution to the team’s problem: Go and get Colin Kaepernick!

Wait. Who! That Colin Kaepernick? The one player every team in the NFL would rather walk through Hell in gasoline-soaked drawers than put him on their roster. That Colin Kaepernick?!

Yep. Him.  Snoop knew exactly what to do and immediately posted a picture of Colin Kaepernick to his social media while airing out his thoughts about who should be Big Ben’s replacement, reports The Blast.

“Steelers go get him now or we gonna look like the old Cleveland Browns he better than 70% of the Q bs [sic] in the league let’s. Go. Steel city,” Snoop wrote.

As you can imagine, not all of Snoop’s followers were feeling him on this one and let him know.

“He ain’t even better than the backup QB on the Steelers,” one fan said while another said, “#unemployed I bet he wished he stood up for our national anthem.”

Some said Kaep could also find a spot on the New Orleans Saints because Drew Brees will also miss a considerable amount of time due to an injury.

Yes, for some, it’s a far-fetched idea, but if you think about it, it’s not because only 2 weeks into the season and you’ve got some major QBs already down for the count and others playing injured and ineffective like Cam Newton.

The last time Kaepernick played in the league was in 2016 and that’s when he famously took a knee during the national anthem at the 49ers third preseason game. His actions sparked a large national discussion about racial injustice and oppression. But it was Donald Trump inserting himself into the issue is when things really went left and is the main reason we think the NFL is scared to bring him back.

Kaepernick filed a grievance against the NFL and its owners in 2017. He accused them of colluding to keep him out of the league. He withdrew the grievance in February 2019 after reaching a confidential settlement.
