‘It’ Cast Talks Their Worst Fears and Coming Back For ‘Chapter Two’ / EUR Exclusive-WATCH!

*”It Chapter Two” is one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year and this new journey shares the second part of the Stephen King classic in which the “The Losers” come back to fight the killer clown Pennywise.

EURweb sat down with the cast: Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Sophia Lillis, Jessica Chastaine, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, Jay Ryan and Andy Bean. The cast was also joined by the film’s director #Andy Muschietti.

This time around the film is telling the story of the adults after they’ve left the town of Derry. It’s been 27 years and the kids, who are now adults, are being called back by Mike Hanlon (Mustafa). Chastaine, Mustafa, Ryan, Bean, Hader and McAvoy are joining the cast for the first time and said the experience was mind-blowing.

“For me being cast in this movie, the size and scale of ‘It,’ was pretty special. I remember seeing all the names pop up of all the cast. I was like pinching myself,” Ryan said. To prepare for their roles the younger cast was instructed to write their older selves notes as their characters in the film. Yeah, the letters were very sweet. It was very insightful and evolved for a kid that age to write that,” Bean wrote.

When it comes to their fears the kids say Pennywise could use a wide range of tactics to spook them. “I say some sort of animal,” Oleff replied. The rest of the group agreed that animals would be the worst to be scared by. “Imagine being eaten alive, that’s horrible,” Jacobs said. “Coldwater, being chased by a narwhal,” Wolfhard exclaimed.

The cast and crew went on to discuss what it was like being on set, working with their counterparts as well as an admiring Bill Skarsgårdon set as “It.”

“It Chapter Two” hits theaters today, Sept. 6, 2019.
