*Nicki Minaj has announced that she’s retiring from music.
The “Queen” rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to write, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me.”
But many fans ain’t buying it and believe this is nothing more than a slick PR move. Some think she’s pregnant, others believe a new album is on the horizon.

YouTube personality Kingsley responded with “So album dropping at midnight?”
User @BeingBrandyn_ wrote “It’s either the Album dropping or she pregnant & gonna take time off.”
A third commenter added, “A “True Queen” is comfortable in her position. I guess the competition got to for you. Either that or B: you’re stirring up controversy for a surprise album release. Either way, I’m just glad you got a taste of what Lil’ Kim went through when you tried to X her out the game.”
We previously reported, Minaj bae revealed on her Queen Radio in June that she and boyfriend Kenneth Petty
obtained a marriage license.
The “Megatron” rapper was answering questions from fans when one asked “is Kenny a fan of ‘Nicki Minaj’ or does he only love ‘Onika’ ? If so, what’s his favorite album/song by you ? & would you ever date a person who isn’t necessarily into Nicki Minaj but into Onika ?”
“He won’t even say the word ‘Nicki,'” Minaj responded. “He has called me onika since I was 15 so it’s hard to change that. I wouldn’t date anyone cuz I’m about to be married to my soulmate. But that was the problem, others r infatuated w/Nicki Minaj he DGAF about this industry & is very protective.”
As noted by Complex, on Chance the Rapper’s new album “The Big Day,” Minaj hinted at a future with Petty when she rapped, “My n***a home now, he the Clyde to my Bonnie/‘Bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy.”
