*Veteran actor Isaiah Washington has added his voice to the anti-gun conversation, admitting that he’s “baffled” by folks who wish to strip Americans of their First and Second Amendment rights.

Washington’s comments come in the wake of the mass shooting in Odessa, Texas, last week. We previously reported… police claim they are not sure why Seth Aaron Ator, 36, erupted in a shooting spree after a routine traffic stop in West Texas over the weekend.

Ator reportedly injured 22 people Saturday, killing seven, before officers fatally shot him outside a movie theater in Odessa.

Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke said there are still no answers pointing to a motive for the attacks, which is at the center of the latest gun laws conversation.

Meanwhile, the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum took to Twitter to point out, “We have thousands of gun laws all over the country & laws against murder/attempted murder. What sane person would choose not to lock their doors to their home or car just because they haven’t been robbed?”

Washington said he’s “baffled w/h the anti-gun advocates in America.”

“The hypocrisy is insane,” he added.

Washington also referenced the erosion of First Amendment rights, and noted his concern that Americans will “grow tired” of their rights being “taken away forever.”

“God hasn’t created a natural disaster that could be more devastating than the American People, who will grow tired of their 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights being eroded and possibly taken away forever,” he said. “I refuse to imagine what that would look like in a supposedly civilized Nation.”
