*Los Angeles – Next Dimension Bible University’s 2019 Commencement and Awards Ceremony held recently at West Angeles Cathedral was a grand affair, sending a message of hope to the graduating class.
Dr. Joel McLeod, Chancellor of the Next Dimension University, an accredited Bible College, with campuses throughout California and extension schools throughout the USA, was honored to present diplomas to over 200 graduates receiving Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates degrees.
Dr. Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, of Faithful Central Church, delivered an emotional commencement address, encouraging the graduates to do good works as a steward unto to God, as His work must be fulfilled.
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price received the Living Legend Award, coupled with Honorary Doctorates diplomas given to an impressive group of candidates which included, Gospel artists Kurt Carr, Maurette Brown Clark, prolificate musician Paul Jackson, Jr. who has played with every major GRAMMY winning artists, as well as on American Idol. Actors Bill Duke, Marla Gibbs, and Dawnn Lewis, Record label founder, Vicki Mack Lataillade, who broke Kirk Franklin and many others on Gospel Centric Records, renown Community Organizer Sweet Alice, Record Manager and now political community activist Dina Andrews, PR Maven Edna Sims, Founder, ESP Public Relations and many more.
After the commencement, graduates celebrated at a formal banquet: The Black, White and Blue Gala held at the LAX Hilton. Dr. Pastor Fred Price, Jr., and Pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center.
Recipients were presented with a God Awards by Dr. Joel McLeod, NDU Chancellor, Dr. Evelyn Saucer, Dr. Evelyn Reason and Dr. Rose Parker was the Mistress of Ceremonies.
NDU Alumni and Past Honorees have included; Fred Hammond, Donald Lawrence, Yolanda Adams, Randall Cunningham, Judge Mablean, Janet’ Dubois, Judy Jacobs, Bishop Noel Jones, Cecil Murry, Jack Hayford and many more.
