*Unfortunately, we have more bad news regarding the El Paso mass shooting. Another victim of the weekend massacre has died.
Dr. Stephen Flaherty, of the Del Sol Medical Center, says the patient was one of two victims of Saturday’s attack to die at the hospital on Monday. Police earlier announced the death of one of the patients.
The new deaths bring the death toll from the attack to 22. More than two dozen other people were wounded.
As we reported earlier, more than two dozen people were wounded in the attack. The suspected gunman, 21-year-old Patrick Crusius, has been booked on capital murder charges.
The attack happened hours before a separate mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, in which nine people were killed and others were wounded.
Speaking from the White House on Monday, President Donald Trump condemned the El Paso mass shooting and another in Dayton, Ohio, hours later in his first public remarks since the attacks.

Additionally, Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy are citing video games as one of the reasons behind mass shootings in the US.
The comments from the two Republican leaders come as a grieving nation struggles to agree on ways to prevent future gun violence in the wake of the massacres in Texas and Ohio that left at least 30 people dead.
Congressional Republicans have resisted efforts to restrict the use and availability of assault-style weapons, and a sweeping gun control bill that passed the House with bipartisan support in February that requires universal background checks has not been considered by the Republican-led Senate.
“We must stop the glorification of violence in our society,” Trump said in remarks from the White House Monday morning as part of a list of efforts he believes the nation must take. “This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace.”
