TV One heats up this month with Love, Lies & Murder theme with four original movie premieres. Inspired by actual events, the network that brought viewers “When Love Kills” and the popular true-crime series “Fatal Attraction,“ delivers a series of stories that explore the dark side of love through deceit, betrayal, obsession, jealousy and murder. TV One’s month of true crime stories add a bang with the chilling movie “Loved to Death.”
Upon meeting and falling in love with Jackson (McKinley Freeman), Monica (Malinda Williams) realizes Jackson is a totally different person than she once knew. Through the support of her family and faith in God Monica leaves her long-term abusive relationship with Jackson (Freeman) to be with her new love Dre (Tobias Truvillion). Dre showing Monica a new perspective on life and relationships decides it’s time to pop the question. The newly engaged couple are blissful about the future but Monica’s crazed, obsessed ex-lover Dre has something else in mind for the couple.

The inspired true-crime programming stars Malinda Williams (Girlfriends’ Getaway), MC Lyte (Girls Trip), McKinley Freeman (Hit The Floor), Tobias Truvillion (Empire) and Chrystee Pharris (Media). The tear-jerking film is directed by Lee Davis, written by Chad Quinn and produced by David Michael. David Rimawi served as executive producer with Scotty Mullen as casting director.
