Wendy Williams Has Message for Lil’ Kim After Rapper Slams ‘Messy’ Media

*Wendy Williams is calling out Lil Kim after the rapper canceled all media appearances thanks to a few “messy” outlets.

As previously reported, the Brooklyn rapper was set to promote her upcoming reality series on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” but cancelled because the Bravo talk show host “wanted to be messy.”

Kim said her team cut a series of press appearances with “major outlets” — including one with WWHL.

While it’s unclear whether Kim was scheduled to appear on Wendy’s show this week, after playing a video clip of the rapper explaining why she bailed on the outlets, Williams noted how certain topics — like Kim’s plastic surgery rumors — were unavoidable.

Kim said another reason why cancelled her media appearances was because the outlets wanted to ask her superficial questions — watch her tell it via the YouTube video embed above.

“When you were to come on Wendy, I already knew even before your publicist or you, whoever was going to try to lay down some laws of what I can’t ask, I wasn’t going to dwell on plastic surgery,” explained Williams on her talk show, “but I would make mention.”

She added, “There’s no way to get around plastic surgery, there’s no way to get around allegation of skin bleaching, there’s no way to get around stuff. But I wasn’t dwell on that. I was happy to have Kim here. All hail the queen!”

Wendy went on to diss Kim’s new VH1 series, “Girls Cruise,” a show she says “maybe nobody wants to watch because it doesn’t look that interesting.”

“Girls Cruise” follows Kim’s sailing adventure in the Caribbean with her celebrity girlfriends. The show debuts on VH1 July 15.

In a since-deleted rant on Instagram, the hip-hop star explained that she had “a bunch of press” lined up for her new show, but “It’s not gonna be happening for a bunch of major reasons,” she said, claiming “two of the major outlets wanted to be messy.”

She named “Watch What Happens Live” and said “I have a cool relationship with [Andy], I thought.”

In response to the video, Andy Cohen tells TooFab: “I love Lil Kim and can’t wait for her to return to the Clubhouse.”
