*Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are expanding their empire by launching their own multimedia company called Westbrook, Inc., the couple announced in a statement on Wednesday.
As noted by Variety.com, the company will finance new and existing projects from the Smith family, including short and mid-form digital content, as well as TV shows and movies. Westbrook Inc. will begin debuting content this month.
“We are so excited to announce this new venture and fully immerse ourselves in all areas of the media and entertainment space,” the statement reads. “With our incredible team of family, chosen family, and longtime business partners, Westbrook Inc.’s mission is to spread positive ideas, art, and products that entertain and empower the greatest number of lives, inspiring the next generation of artists to do good in the world.”

Westbrook, Inc. will also serve as the parent company for most of the couple’s existing media studios, such as Overbrook Entertainment studio, Red Table Talk Enterprises, Westbrook Studios, Westbrook Media, and merchandise business Good Goods — all fall under the Westbrook Inc. umbrella.
Westbrook Studios currently produces the Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Will and Jada plan to “execute their global content” through Westbrook, Inc, which will develop projects that feature a “diverse voice.” The company will also partner with studios that want to hire Will Smith for starring roles.
